I started this company on a shoestring budget with a collection of remarkable artists. For two years, all we did was paint murals. But the revolution in technology was both coming and obvious – so we embraced it. One computer led to another. Every machine led to even more machines, which led to more capabilities. Each year we were learning a whole new business. Screen Print. Paints. Plastics. Wood. Metal. Roto Molding. Digital Imaging. Pressure Casting. Installation. The learning curve was rough. Initially, I was worried we would lose our artistic soul – that we would become just another industrial shop. But almost 25 years later, Artists with Machines is still as much a studio of artists as ever, capable of conjuring extraordinary solutions from ordinary materials and limited only by our collective imagination. No wonder I continue to believe our future is unlimited!
